About Us

The New Zealand Boarding Schools’ Association (NZBSA) exists to support schools, other organisations and individuals who provide boarding accommodation for school aged students. By joining the NZBSA, schools gain access to a network of like-minded professionals and industry experts who are dedicated to developing and improving the boarding sector and enhancing the wellbeing of students in their care.

Our Dedicated Team

The NZBSA employs a National Advisor to liaise and engage with our NZBSA members. NZBSA also has an executive committee who provide valuable input and expertise into the provision of our resources and program of courses and events.

The Executive consists of a team covering different aspects of boarding.  We have a selection of Principals/Rectors, Director of Boardings and Hostel Managers covering state/integrated/private boarding schools and preparatory/secondary boarding. The Executive is voted in by member schools and each Executive group runs on a two year cycle to allow for continuity.
